Objective
-To organise a pen spinning tournament to show the standard of MYPSC spinners.
-To build MYPSC spinners a good confident for pen spinning tournament/competition in advance.

How to register?
You need a MYPSC forum account.
Reply this thread(link) with your MYPSC ID & state you live,

Strictly for Malaysian only.

What if I'm a ps noob?
Try it! Never try, never know.

Registration deadline is 8th of October 2011(Saturday).
Lineup will be reveal on 9th of October 2011(Sunday).

Tournament
For Round 1, total will be 8 groups, top 4 spinners in each group will advance to second round.
Knockout stage system begin on Round 2.( Google knockout if you don't understand )
Expected to have total 32 spinners in Round 2.
If you did not submit your video on time, you will be disqualified.

Round format
-Videos should be between 10 and 25 seconds.
-Videos should be new material (previously unreleased). We need you to present something that we request to prove that it is a new material. It will be reveal after registration deadline.
-Videos should be sent as a Youtube link.

Judging System
Currently only two judges, Kenzio & cyshing, will invite two more.
Anyway, during revealing result, we will only reveal judges as Judge1, Judge2, Judge3 instead of their real ID/name, this is to prevent uncertain bias cases happen.
Scores sheet will be based on Execution, Difficulty, Creativity and Presentation. Total is 20marks, each category contribute 5marks.
The average scores of judges given will determine the winner.

Total 6 rounds will be conduct.

:: Judging Criteria for Unofficial MYPSC Tournament 2011 ::
Execution - The first things to achieve a good execution, no unintentional drops of pen. There are no indications of any error, rough trick completion rough linkages. Example like: When you do hai tua, but failed, ended up with the pen drop on floor, marks give will be either 0 or 1 only. Next is, when you perform backaround, it's like stuck and error happens, you might get 2 or 3 marks for it, when errors happen too often, you will get less than half in this execution section. It depends on the judges.

Difficulty- The combo presented was extremely challenging for majority of pen spinners to mimic or replicate.

Creativity- This is also known as originality of pen spinning. A large portion of the combo displayed unique trick sections tied together in ways never seen before.

Presentation – Exotic but still in control, not the other way around, making the combo very interesting to watch lighting and camera angle was clear making the combo and tricks easy to watch. If spinners have a very bad quality of videos, judges may give a very low marks for presentation section.

Prizes
Only 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place are eligible to get the prizes.

What prizes will I get if I won?
It will revealed soon. ( Of course ps-related prizes )

Remarks
Through this tournament, you might able to get a chance to join WC12 as represent MYPSC(Malaysia).
Please take part to join this tournament, it's FOC and this is a good chance to practice you to become experience spinners and further improvement.
